A fantastic experience! The tour offered stunning views, engaging eco-guided activities, and seamless logistics, making it a memorable day out.
The Great Adventures Green Island Eco Adventure tour was an exceptional day trip. From the moment we boarded the ferry, the service was top-notch. The island's natural beauty was breathtaking—crystal-clear waters, lush vegetation, and vibrant marine life. The eco-guided tour was both informative and engaging, highlighting the island's unique ecosystem and conservation efforts. We enjoyed a range of activities, including snorkelling among colourful coral reefs and exploring the island’s walking trails. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of the experience. The knowledgeable guides provided interesting insights and were always ready to assist. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the natural wonders of Green Island while enjoying a well-organized adventure.

Fun day out whether you swim or not, expect an easy going and relaxed day
You start your day at the ferry terminal, and I recommend getting there 30mins before the tour starts means you'll get better seats on the ferry plus have time to get tea/coffee before the ferry departs. The ride over has nice views if the weather is good, it's also easier just to take a nap. Ferry staff will show you add on options as you travel and give you advice on how to explore the island. I wasn't interested in swimming which was great as a glass bottom boat tour was included and I still got to enjoy the GBR while remaining dry. If you do swim there are plenty of snorkelling/diving options with a dedicated dive shop onsite. For the landlubbers, the reception desk offers reef talks and island tours, I had the very lovely Cara teach me more about reef and island ecology. I also visited Marineland and while it can definitely use a facelift and some extra funding, keeper Josh really displayed his passion working and caring his animals and the gift shop staff were incredibly friendly. The island is small enough that it should only take you 2hrs to walk the whole shoreline at a leisurely pace. There are food outlets available, however of you're trying to save money in there's a local woolies just around the corner from the ferry terminal that I visited before I departed. If you're into photography, there are plenty of birds, seascapes and sealife to snap. Highly recommend a gopro too if you're swimming.

Nice Boat ride and glass bottom coral spotting. Green island was green and nice walk.
The booking was seamless, the arrival experience, service at the catamaran was good. The tea & coffee mugs were already filled in and kept to add milk so it wasn't too hot but it was manageable. The service overall was good. Tip: sit in the middle of the boat to reduce the bumpy ride which may cause sea sickness. We sat in front and most of us were seasick and feeling uneasy. The glass bottom boat was nice and I wish it was more than 30 mins. 30 mins was too little, I guess since the coral is so beautiful. Guide was good and staff were good too. Highly recommend this. Green Island too is nice. It's a good walk inside the island.
